Social Media & Marketing Coordinator
Amanda Anderson,
BA Communications & Nonprofit Management
My name is Amanda Anderson and I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor's in Communications. During my time at UTC, I joined Gamma Phi Beta. During my time at Gamma Phi Beta, I took on the role of social media manager for the chapter. It is in this role that I realized what career I wanted to pursue post-graduation. Following my time at UTC, I was offered a position at Tennessee Voices as the Healthy Transitions program's Social Media Marketing Specialist. Over the next 3 years, I learned so much and grew as a young professional. In July of 2024, I began my current role as Marketing Coordinator at Nashville Rescue Mission. I am very grateful for the opportunities I have been given to tell the stories of individuals who want to share their hardships and how they overcame their challenges. It is truly inspiring and reminds me everyday what is truly important.
